Associate Prof. Rohazar Wati Zuallcobley is the Deputy Director General (Industrial Property), Intellectual Property Corporation Malaysia since 1 February 2006. She is a Phd. Candidate of International Islamic University Malaysia. She did a Postgraduate Specialization Diploma In Intellectual Property (University of Turin and WIPO Worldwide Academy) 2000. She also graduated with LLM from University College London (1986), Postgraduate Diploma in Shipping Law, University College London 1985, LLB. (Hons.) University of London. 1984 and Diploma Public Administration 1981 (ITM).
She has more than 20 years of working experience. She is the Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, MARA University of Technology, Shah Alam, Selangor. She have been involved with the teaching of intellectual property at the university since 1987 for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has also supervising LLM by research student on topic under intellectual property. Besides, she also lectures on Intellectual Property for the Masters In Intellectual Property program conducted by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
She hold various position as Chairman Academic Centre, Faculty of Law, MARA, University Of Technology, Shah Alam, Selangor; Consultant of Malaysian Intellectual Property Office; Legal Adviser on Intellectual Property; Institute of Research and Development, MARA University Of Technology, Shah Alam, Selangor and Member of the Board of Examiner Malaysian Patent Agent.
She actively involved in presentation of seminar papers in Malaysia and overseas. Her publication including “Pengenalan Kepada Undang-undang Hakcipta 1992” and “Undang-undang Hakcipta Di Malaysia 1999”. |
