Dr Mohd Azmi Mohd Lila, Director of Investment at Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC), responsibles for venture capital investment in non-ICT areas with the main focus on biotech and life sciences. He is also a professor at University Putra Malaysia (UPM). He is a formal Director of both Institute of Bioscience and University Business Center at UPM. He has a wealth of experience in the related fields of biotechnology and life sciences in areas including development and production of vaccines, diagnostic, cancer research, animal microbiology, biopharmaceutical and also in the related intellectual property right issues. He obtained his PhD in Virology from University of Cambridge, UK; Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and MBA in Finance/Marketing from University Putra Malaysia; and LLM in Business Law from IIUM. He is also a recipient of numerous awards for his achievement.
