As the regional director, Nitin Naik is responsible for the overall Asia Pacific region’s healthcare business. In addition to managing all aspects of the business, he often takes the role of project director on select custom consulting projects. Before becoming the Director of Consulting at Frost & Sullivan, Nitin held various positions with several leading medical companies in Asia. These positions covered a variety of areas and organizations including market analysis and forecasting for Amersham’s products, new service unit development at BMC group of hospitals, and sales management for one of GEMS leading distributor.
Nitin's unique combination of multiple domain expertise and strong business acumen has been the guiding principle behind his close association with Frost & Sullivan's global offices for multi-country assignments. He thus brings in rich consulting experience of over 12 years in managing diverse studies related to market opportunity assessment, new product launches, M&A analysis and competitive benchmarking in the healthcare industry.
Nitin’s industry focus includes medical imaging, life sciences and healthcare Informatics with special emphasis on Government and Trade Regulatory Maps and Healthcare Risk Assessment Models. His technical fields include research design, feasibility analysis, competitive benchmarking and “futures” strategy roadmap development. Mr. Naik has advised leading companies in this industry such as Hill Rom, Daiichi Pharmaceuticals, TNT Life Sciences, Roche, GSK and Quintiles. Nitin holds a MBA (international business specialization) from SPJIMR and has a undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from Bombay University. He is currently based in Singapore. |
